PRODUCTION PROCESS: We use A1 Quality corn that is cooked, ground and kneaded to obtain the base paste. Afterwards the paste passes to a die cutter where round discs are formed. The round round discs then go to a furnace for a quick cook and then onto the freezer before being packaged. Customer orders are picked, boxed and distributed.
The whole process takes into account good manufacturing practices that assure arepas of great QUALITY and taste.
The arepa is a fragile product, perishable and susceptible to contamination by human manipulation. We recommend the following for all our Arepa Products:
- Once purchased promptly refrigerate the product.
- Store the product in its original packaging.
- No repeated freezing and thawing of the product, remember it is a natural product and has no preservatives.
